How to delete your account and data#
TurtleTech ehf. (“TurtleTech”) provides the Ridley app for Zotero library management and other cloud services. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Option 1: Self-service (recommended)#
- Log in to your TurtleTech dashboard at my.turtletech.us/account
- Scroll to the “Delete account” section
- Click “Delete my account” and confirm
This immediately:
- Cancels all active subscriptions
- Removes your login credentials
- Schedules deletion of all stored data (completed within 30 days)
Option 2: Email request#
Send an email to info@turtletech.us with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include your username or email address. We will process the request within 30 days as required by GDPR.
What data is deleted#

Data retained after deletion#
Under Icelandic tax law (log um bokfaerslu nr. 145/1994), we are required to retain invoice and payment records for 7 years. These records are stored separately from your account and cannot be used to access any services.
